During your PADI Sidemount Diver Specialty course, you’ll learn the following:
- How to assemble and configure your sidemount scuba diving equipment
- How to trim your weight system and sidemount gear so that you’re perfectly balanced in the water
- How to manage your gas by switching second stages as planned, if wearing two cylinders
- How to respond to potential problems when sidemount diving in a correct and efficient way
- All equipment is available to hire for free. Along with your basic scuba equipment, you’ll need a BCD and harness configured for sidemount diving along with cylinders, each with a regulator and SPG.
- Some equipment, for example dive computers & underwater cameras, will incur an extra charge unless it is required as part of your specialty.
- You’re welcome to use your own equipment but most importantly, please make sure it’s been serviced as and when required. If we see equipment that we do not feel is safe or adequate, we reserve the right to ask you to leave it behind and provide you with a suitable replacement.
- We have a huge range of scuba diving and snorkeling products to buy online. These can either be delivered to you or you can pick them up from here when you arrive.
