Bidas and the Phi Phi Klad Keow Wreck
On this trip we will take our speedboat to visit some of the further dive sites in Phi Phi area. Koh Bida Nok, Koh Bida Nai and Hin Bida are regarded by many as the best dive sites in Phi Phi.
The Bidas trip is targeted for more experienced divers and we will enjoy the combination of 2 dives in Koh Bida Nok, Koh Bida Nai, Hin Bida and the new wreck or Hin Klai reef just outside Phi Phi Ley Viking Cave.
This is a 2 dives speedboat trip to the best divesites in Phi Phi area on a speedboat. Koh Bida Nok, Koh Bida Nai and Hin Bida offer some of the best reef and wall diving in the Phi Phi area. Clear waters and medium sized marine life such as Jacks, Turtles, Blacktips and Leopard Sharks are the main attractions here.
Klad Keow was built in 1955 and it has served as a military cargo ship. It was purposefully sunk as an artificial reef for divers on March 14th 2014 and has had a chance to grow in to a vivid ecosystem of its own. It is home to dense schools of fish and the biggest Lionfish in the area, to mention a few curiosities.
The wreck requires an OWD certification or above but the shallow parts of the reefs are good for snorkelers and Introduction divers as well. We do require a minimum 6 divers in total to make the trip.
- All equipment is available to hire for free. Some equipment, for example dive computers and underwater cameras, will incur an extra charge.
